(less of them have unreasonable amounts of health, although the unreasonable amounts of damage are still there) -World bosses are sort of worth killing, unlike in the alpha where they gave cubes that often couldn't be used -Pseudo-quests, but the daily quests are gone Yeah that's it. This would be more of an issue if the previous point wasn't true -Crafting is useless now because of region locking Now for what's better: -The map is nicer -Teleporting? I'm not sure if this is good or bad though because it was exciting to find portals in the alpha -Music was added -The bosses are easier to determine if you can kill them or not. Killing mobs is not rewarding (no exp) -Mobs are few and far between in the open world. At the beginning of the game you will find yourself waiting for that cooldown to do any damage to literally anything. The stars you throw are now a 60 second cooldown. This might be a side effect of no more skill trees, and should be noted that I've only played rogue.

I've only seen one drop, and of course it was for a different class -Ninja has been completely ruined.

People say that you get + gear once you complete a zone, but it is still very rare to get a + item. Seriously, Wollay must just be trolling because nobody could possibly think that's a good idea. The only useable thing i have received from them were rings and amulets -Gear is region locked. Scroll wheel zooms the map and the binds for zoom in and out don't work. You can't sort your inventory any more -You can't zoom in or out. You start with all of your skills and they don't get stronger in any way. Here's what's worse in the new version: -No more skill tree -No character progression. But since the Cube World Alpha exists, it is definitely not worth anything because it is just straight up worse. But since the Cube World Alpha exists, it is definitely not worth anything because it is So, in a vacuum, this game is probably worth $20. So, in a vacuum, this game is probably worth $20. Looking forward to see what comes next to this game. Big bosses should have more probability to drop those kinds of gear. Acquiring artifacts needs to be more meaningful for the player, and region-locked gear, I think it can work but for the time I've played, I feel the problem is the drop rates of gear that works in more than one region. In my opinion that's not a bad thing in itself, I like the new progression system, I just think that needs to be balanced. And there are big improvements compared to the alpha version: - Terrain generation is now way more diverse and balanced - Quests, dungeons, are diverse and meaningful - Even if not perfect, the new progression system is better than the old one, when after you got all equipped with epic gear, progression stopped to make sense - Randomly generated lore is very well implemented - New pets to tame - New bosses to fight I get that most of the critics will come from people o played the game when it was released in its alpha state where the paradigm of the game was a lot different. And there are big improvements compared to the The game has a lot to improve that's for sure, but it has a great base to be improved on.
